body shop

I'm coming back from deployment soon and am thinking of getting some work done to my 71 R/T nothing major just some cancer removal to the bottom of the doors, and the ram charger hood behind the opening, More if I can afford it. But am not familiar with the area. Anybody know any good body shop in southern CA. I'm stationed about 40 miles north of Los Angles. In Venture CA. Also any dos or don't when dealing with body shops. I've heard nightmares stories

I've seen lots of nightmare cars,put down a deposit they tear your car apart then shove it in the corner,you end up grateful to get your car and parts back.I would talk to the local guys at some of the shows,they usually know who's who.check out other cars in the shop and see how long thy have been there.and never never tell them your not in a big rush to get your car back.Good luck Mopower to ya
