A restoration is a restoration whether it's a stock or modified restoration. I think you are confusing portions of the terms "restoration" and "survivor". Any car that is restored can never be a survivor in most peoples opinion.
PS - Sorry to hear you are restoring your car. It looks completely bad ass as it sits!

A while back I mentioned in a certain topic that I was restoring my Charger and when I mentioned that I was going to put Vectors underneath it and possibly a Dana 60 and a 426 Hemi in it I got schooled that I was working on a restomod, not a restoration. But it's all good... what ever you call it, it's going to be my dreamcar.
PS - It's going to look the same, just better than new and with shiny Black paint.

Yup - I noticed the rivets as well....and the black spray bomb over the scaling in the trunk
