318 Firing Order

Okay, I need a photo of a 318 engine spark plug firing order please. I think my car timing is off plum by the sounds of it. It wants to fire over but doesn't though.

1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2  ...  drivers side plugs/cylinders is front to back 1-3-5-7, pass. side is front to back 2-4-6-8

Is this correct for on the cap?

depending on oil pump driveshaft slot indexing, the 1 can, or can't  be on that location

Find TDC for number #1 cylinder and your rotor should be pointing at #1 wire on the cap.
