Ok someone with a copy of this movie maybe can confirm. just after hugh starts teaching the robot atom to fight there is a fight scene where the robots are surrounded by cars at night. it looks like atom uses a 3rd gen charger as a spring board to leap off and punch the other robot.

Yup just watched the scene again and the one robot lands atop the charger and crushes it...
