My take on the Detroit auto show with pics!!

The auto show was great this year and there was some awesome stuff. It stunk because it was packed with idiots that you just wanted to yell at.
one of the dumber things I had the misfortune to hear.
"Dodge has a proud tradition of releasing there cars as close to the concept cars as possible"-dumb model (what happened to the '99 charger concept)
but I digress the good out weighed the bad.
so to start off this pick thread I shall submit the best pick I found on a riced out car they had on display.

finally they had the good since to take the super bee option off that POS truck (remember this is my take on things so its my opinion, and in my opinion the Daytona, gtx, and super bee packs should never be put on trucks.. oops sorry my bad rumble bee... *barf*)

Chances are the model was told what to say.

The Germans will keep slapping stickers on the Charger and trucks as long as someone buys the hype.

and the infamous challenger... I loved it! they got the rear window, side windows lower valances, and great throw back grill and tail lights. oh and lets not forget, number of doors  
Thing I like best about the car was that the front bumper and the hood were carbon fiber that was masked off to paint the car, thus creating the blacked out look on the grill and racing stripes. I loved the look of the painted car with the deep carbon fiber inlayed into the graphics...
oh and no the girl didn't leave any but prints...
I loved the car so much that I started taking off my cloths to have my picture taken with it.. unfortunately the rent-a-cops didn't think it was as funny as my friend matt did and they tackled me half way over the barrier.... luckily I was able to find my pants and shirt my shoes are still MIA.

Wow that's a nice Dodge Charger Super Bee R/T Daytona SRT-8 Hemi "Unleashed". Sorry OC, he hates it when I do this.

I love how clean and simple they made it. over all very impressed. No doubt they will keep the 6.0L out of it to keep it from compeeting with there beloved corvett (and you thought there were only german natzi automakers!) But I would be happy with any thing over 300hp stock.

and this next car was I thought the best one in the show.
Im sorry every one that like the challenger, charger, and camero better but the best car in there that I saw was this by toyota. It was a battery assisted V6, carbon fiber/aluminum chassis (as you can see from the skin-less pic), 400hp (with battery assist I assume). it is hard to see the scale of this car but to put it into proportion for you the rims are 18's. It is a 3 seater (3 across) that was what I didnt like about it. No info on the curb weight.  I was shocked to hear that it was also 4wd.

OMG that chitvee is first class F-UGLY..and we all thought 4 doors on a charger was an insult! lmao they have GOT to be kidding. i had not seen this before     i almost feel bad for the camaro lovers....no wait i guess i dont lol

See, I think they got it right. but I will hold out for the firebird, those are always smoother than the camaro's. I think they did the camaro very well sharp clean and very simmular to the 68-69 body

I like what they did to the Camaro, but prefer the Challenger.

I don't mind the Camaro either.  The Challenger is better but I'd just love to see the Big 3 get back into pony cars again.  Maybe there's hope for Trans-Am racing yet!
