I just noticed that in the 1966-67 Charger Registry, we have registered at least one 1966 Charger for every 3-digit starting serial number 161,XXX through 298,XXX. Meaning at least one Charger with a serial number starting 161, then at least one starting 162, all the way up through 298 for the '66's. And there are over 1,100 Chargers registered in that lot.

Very cool, at least I think so. Quite a lot of data there.

What we are lacking, is complete build information for many of these vehicles. Information that is key is mostly found on the fender tag but can be found on other documents such as the certicard, build sheet, and Chrysler IBM card as well. For '67 Chargers it also helps to know if your car has a console or not since that was an option.

So please take a moment to hop over to the recently updated listing pages at http://www.1966-67chargerregistry.com and search the listing pages for your Charger to see if it is there and if the information is complete. If not, we (myself and the Charger community) would sure appreciate it if you could email myself (fastbackJon@gmail.com) with the missing information, either in a few notes or a picture of the fender tag and the VIN of the Charger works.

We Thank You!!!

How does the 67 side of it compare Jon?

There are about half as many '67's registered as '66's, which makes sense as there were about half as many built.

So fewer numbers, but an overall higher percentage of all built cars registered in '67 (3.8%) compared to 3.4% of all built '66's registered.

And I still have a few in the queue to catch up on.
