my 440 has 400-425 hp what size carb should i use.  Thanks

p.s.  I now have the originall 700cfm carb on it

How do you know your HP if you haven't picked a carb yet?  For 400-450HP a 750 to 850 will get you there depending on other things in your combo. Bob

Wasn't the original 'carb 700 cfm or more?

original was 600 on 383 , 700 on a 440
