I am thinking of going to Mascoutah this Saturday, but my wife wants to go down to Bull Shoals and visit my dad.  I will try to get her to go Saturday night.
I took the mini starter to Ken instead of installing it we drove down to the club house and looked at my Challenger, Maybe I can get that back on the road.

69 Beast, you must be new to what was the Charger Site. But you are in luck. For a only $29.95 plus shipping I have a few Cuda Ken Decoder Ring's left that Nightfall was selling!   ;D I know this is hard to belive, but my typing and spelling is much better now. One thing that does not help is the fact I am on a old PS2 Keyboard, all the letter's are wore off. Plus, well let's face's it I am full of Cam 2 and took Auto Shop, not tpying. When I was in school the guy's that took tpying, well got the S--T beat out of them.

Few PIC after this posting. Not sure what sizes the site will take and God know's I don't want to mess up and lose my second posting?

41 Husk did drop on the starter but got me to do some running around with him, and glad I did. Had a blast. Thank's Allen, I do need to get out more and never know when I might want a 73 Charger, Allen showed me where 2 are rusting away. Other wise the PIC would be a littel better but is was late and did not feel like takeing PIC with the door up when it is dark.

PIC to follow, I hope.

Cude Ken, getting ready to have white knuckles again.

Cooling
Aluminum Cross Flow, 2.5" core and 2 row. It was a E-bay speical and tho, does not look right flows like hell. Old 426 started to over heat like hell, 200 was pretty much all the time. While I was doing DFS68 Charger I used his freah 3 Row AC Radiator and dropped it to a normal 170 range. I then installed the Beer Can Radiatior and Holly Cooling Fatman. Could hardly hit 155? Cool is good! :icon_smile_big:

Well, time to go to bed, with Pictuer's of Supercharger's dancing in my head, Belch.

Great looking engine, Ken!! :2thumbs:

Now don't break that Charger in half broiling the hides. :drive:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Hey Ken,
Excellent to see all the progress buddy. :)   It certainly looks DAMN SWEET!
What did you end up doing on the broken engine mount tab?

And by the way guys, the evening I spent at Ken's place, It was simple to understand Ken, We both got smashed and talked about how much we loved Chargers,,,,nothin hard to understand about that :D

Congrats Ken, She's lookin great!!!

Hey Buddy, still have the wing on?

On the motor mount, I had posted PIC on the old site, then it died and so did my keyboard thingie. I have back up CD's but the old system is being over taxed so have not added up the back files.

On the repair, had the thrid boss drilled, then  what I would call a spanner (not a wrench for guy's in the UK) that spaned the gap to the motor mount. Space's in the motor mount has a filler much like are ALT use'd in the center and center was threaded. Sapanner had a stud that screwed into it, then welded togather. Dip stick tube ear was bent, spanner was thread'ed and dip stick screwd into it.

Over all, look's like it should be that way and look's like a qualty repair.

Mefrist, if you asked 5 day's ago we might have worked out a deal. But don't sell your self short, you could very well take me. When I was young and dumb and knocked a few blowen Bowe Tie Guy's on there ass. But I was hard core then with 426 Maxie in my 68 Runner. Still have the 68 Runner, but sold the Maxie to buy the house. ??? Boy that was a mistake.

Many thing the Huffer is for is eye candy, but with the current rear end set up and tran's all I hope for is a 1000 mile's before I break stuff. Remember this is a driver, hope to drive 100 mile's a week. Heck I have 2.76 sure grip, use to drive the Charger 1000 miles a week and I do miss that.

If or when I say when I get a 6 point cage, nasty 727, 4.10 gear's and all the toy's that go with it I have the HP to push 4000 pounds of Bondo and me to a soild 11.2 and lucky 10.89's. There is no power curve, it just straight up so power line would be a better term. At 5200 RPM's should make around 685 HP and at 5000 RPM's 600 foot pound's of Torque. This is the part that is hard to belive, at a mer 2000 RPM's I should make around 300 HP and 789 foot pounds? ???

If I could hook up and not break stuff, I have a bad ass Charger. But my goal's are well below what the 440 HP could do. I am old, and no longer want the fastest car in town like you. Know what is better than having the fastest car in town, have everyone think you have the fastest car in town. I am happy if it hit's on all 8, get's some look's and lite the tires on a 20 MPH roll. OH, not break anything, that is a biggie! :icon_smile_tongue:
