1968 B-body small block K-member and the big block is there a difference between the two???
for example if I buy a small K-member do I need the buy other motormounts to fit a 383 or 440 on it???

There are severall statement on the net that they are the same.
But why do they sell conversion kits from small to big???

Thanks

The K-member is the the same but the motor mounts are different.

Yup - Exact same K-Frame between the small and big block in 68 - same part number etc.

Only Hemi's got a skid plate on 68 and 69's.

The late 69 BB's (A12's and Daytona's) got a  kind of a cross between a 69 and a 70 k-frame....still no skid.

So if I buy normal motormounts (383/440) I'm good drop in my 440............... :yesnod:

Yes - If you can find "normal" motor mounts. There is a lot of non-fitting crap out there.
