I remembered couple of weeks ago and decided to contact them, but allmost forget update here about this. Here is the reply I got:

Hi Nacho,

Thank you for your interest in The "REV-N-NATOR"! We are very close, for them to be available to the public. Like any new product, we have had delays that have been out of our control. We have test units in cars and working great. We are very excited to get them out to everyone soon! We will add you to our list, and when they are ready to ship, we will honor the $149.00 price.  Again, we apologize for the delays! We will keep you up dated!
Sincerely,   Troy and Laura  at THE R/T GARAGE

Hm wow.

I've only dealt with Don a couple times, once concerning my Ceramic lifters and once for my distributor/ignition kit and never got the impression that he's less than knowledgeable, straightforward and easy to talk to. We spent about 45 minutes going over my ignition requirements and engine specs before settling on a curve for the distributor, and it's perfect.

I bought the kit because my coil is weak, my distributor was old curved wrong and the pickup adjustment came loose and whacked the coil and reluctor too.
Don told me that the boards they used 'previously' had some issues with QC so they changed them, which required the boxes to be changed...dunno. OTOH there are not many pieces of electronic equipment more reliable than a GM ignition module...I don't take away points for that. The new ones have adjustable rev limiters, so they can't be simply rewired GM modules, either.  :shruggy:

the deal to me was really the high price for a certainly cheapy AC delco piece ( even being an HiPo one ), and even worst, being advertised as "MOPAR" piece.

and to make that I can reuse my REAL stock look box and built same shit. Everything on less than half of the price. I wouldn't pay that much for a fancy box, because I don't like that fancy stuff and really stock look. But that's a discussion there, not here

That is just me, but then its on each own.

will wait for the Rev-N-Nator.

For a while got the Rick Ehrenberg piece and will give a try:

what IF even being really a "stock" piece more than a real "performance" piece ( I dunno what believe about, if really outperforms the chromed MP box or not ), its at least rightly priced. Lets hope at least a quality piece

I see your point Nacho, but you do have a lot of knowledge and skill that most people can't match-I could probably figure out how to wire the $25 module to my car, but it's not worth $100 to me. :)
Plus I understand 'staying in business'-you have to get what you can with controlled costs-if that means using a GM part that works as well as something designed specifically for you, I have no problem with that.

None of this is intended to minimize or excuse poor customer service, if that is one's experience. So far mine's been good.
