Does this have the signs of it being fake, just registered, and wants you to contact thru en email rather than ebay ask a question.
If it is real, seems like a nice car and good price.

Certainly seems that way.  :yesnod:  0 feedback seller, limited pics, contact outside of ebay...

Plus - odd for someone to list the price 33k OBO in the auction listing. If it were a classified ad not so much eh?  Suppose it's possible that they selected the wrong type of listing as they didn't set a reserve.

If I was still in the market I would waste the 1 min and blast off an email and ask for a phone #.

My charger, at the time of the auction, had all the signs of it being fake, new ebay member, could'nt load pics, selling for a friend, etc. But there was a number,so I called and asked specific questions to him he can only answer if the car was right in front of him. Then set up a meeting in person to see the car,and all was good!!!!!!
Turns out the seller had a friend in SC start a new ebay account to sell for him because he was getting divorced and did'nt want his wife to track anything he sold thru ebay!!!!And he never had the car registered so it could'nt be tracked thru DMV.So,when I bought the car,it still had the Cali black plate on it !!
Sometimes they are absolutely fake auctions, but one may never know unless you do some homework.

I have heard of people who start a know min auction then simply remove the ad before it ends if it does not meet the min.  Just a possibility.  He could also bid himself or have a friend bid but then he is stuck with the fees for selling his own car :shruggy:

xxxwife only has to have a pics or plate #of car,,,, any paper trail as to money for or from sale of car ,,,,written down ####'s and a agreeable witness or pissy guy next door............then the guy is stuck and has or can be stuck paying  half the value of a fully restored car appraisal....if he cant prove condition and value of said car at time of sale and to prove it you have to admit illegally selling it in first place,,,,,,,,,screwed over in divorce :Rant :D

Looks like a nice car...  but the auction doesn't list a VIN nor underhood pics, etc.

Like anything else on ebay...  buyer beware.    Do your homework.
