then  wondered how many different heads this has hit over the years   ,  10 minutes later it hit me again , in the same spot  :'(  then many times over the years too also in same spot   :cryin: ,  most of the time i remember its there ,   :P   now it hardly ever hits my head , although when it does , its a different spot than it use to be ,  :scratchchin: :shruggy: think i might have shrunk  :P

TPR

Haven't done it yet, but now I know to be wary.
Thanks for the heads up. No pun intended.

Trust me after you hit it enough you'll build up so much scar tissue that you wouldn't feel it anymore. But the blackouts are a real drag.
MOPAR OR NO CAR !!

Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

TPR, you don't believe us now but trust me, in spite of the warning, you ARE going to do it.

Troy

I can't believe you guys have the hood open so often that hitting your head is routine...

I've only hit my head a couple times - but I'm short and almost never stand in the center either. I have more issues snagging my shirt sleeve on the hood hinge springs.

A tennis ball is probably the simplest/easiest solution.

Troy
Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

Try working on a A Body and a B Body, stand to the side while working on one, and in the center when working on the other, then forget about the respective latch.

That's just it though, if I had it open often then I likely would remember.

There should also be a tennis ball on that hood latch sitting on the roof

Cut a hole in a tennis ball and slide it over the latch while you are working on it.

That's what I do, and I usually don't remember to remove it before attempting to close the hood.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

Wear a crash helmet. Airbrush Dino's Racing on the sides . You will look cool.  :nana:

I've hit my head more times than I can remember.  Wait , what was this tread about again ?
