What do you guys recommend? I'm on my second Hurst Comp Plus and I just can't get it adjusted right. I have the correct rods and new bushings. It goes into 3rd & 4th ok, but I always struggle to get it into 1st and sometimes it doesn't go completely into 2nd, and sometimes it gets stuck between 1st & 2nd. It's just crap. I've adjusted the rods many times and I just can't improve it. Is there an adjustment in the mechanism that I'm missing?

dis-assemble the shifter , remove the levers keeping them in order & make Sure there are no burrs in the round hole the button slides through , you may need to trim them a little so the button slides through easily

I assume nobody's messed with the trans lonkages? Little "Feet" on the tranny? I've seen these flipped around backwartds, and off different car alltogether.

This can play hell when trying to adjust your shifter to compensate. I personally have had no problems with My Hurst Comp. Plus..
