1971 A727 3-Spd on a 383 with Edelbrock Heads and 1406 Carb

I have searched all over for this but could not find a definitive answer.

I had a slow leak coming from the Pan on the transmission.
No visible cracks, or single source.
Seemed to be along the gasket towards the passenger side.
So I thought I would start with replacing the gasket.

Called the Chrysler Dealer to find out what ATF to use.
He was not sure. He thought Chrysler ATF+4.
Another place i read a recommendation to use

"Chrysler AQ-ATF-2848A or 2351A, available under Part Number 1843314."

Anybody know what to use?

I think Dex 3 is all you can get now or the newer Dex4 synthetic , either is fine
