I am looking at a lakewood bellhousing and the owner says there is no block plate and it bolts to the motor without one. I was under the impression that the block plate was bolted to the motor in the factory holes in the block and the bellhousing is bolted to the plate in a second set of holes :shruggy:  anybody know for sure???
