74 barracuda

hey guys. does anybody know what a 74 barracuda parts car is worth? the car could probably be restored but would need a  ton of metal work. the car is totally complete and is a numbers matching 318 car. any idea what is might be worth??

depends on if it's a tach car or base.. e body parts are hot. if you can get it for under $1000, and it's anywhere near complete, i don't think you can go wrong

I just sold a 72 shell with rust free frame rails, but floors removed for another car for $1000 and the guy was glad to get it to repair his 73 that had rusty frame rails. It still had a dash and a right frt fender.
It's hard to find any e-body parts car for less than $1000.

I bought my cousins 73 Barracuda for $700.  It was a complete, 1 owner car, fully loaded, running, fully documented car.  It had buckets/console, rally tach dash, rally wheels, A/C, power steering, power disc brakes, auto slap stick, white stripe down the side.  The only drawback was that it had a 318.  I have all the paperwork for it, Broadcast Sheet, Window Sticker, dealer receipts, bank statements, maintainance records, warranty stuff, etc.  This car needed a ridiculous amount of metal work.  Underneath the cowl was a mess, but all the metal work has been completed, and the car is now off the rotisserie and back on it's wheels getting some of the fill work donw, then off to paint.

hey. i can get the car for $900 complete. does any body think it is worth that? comes with a good title and deffinetally a nice parts car....

Sounds like it would be worth it to me, but pics would help. The days of buying $500 parts cars are just about over.

man you are so right about the $500 parts cars!! well the car is complete. decent interior with a cracked dash pad of sourse. as far as the body it would need a ton of sheetmetal work and some frame work. i was thinking about it more for selling parts from it.  would i get my money back out of it?? i am not really up on the cuda's as far as what parts are worth.. the guy would deliver it for that price to me so i wouldn't be lifting a finger or maybe try to resell it complete to someone who has the skill to do it...

Heck you could FLIP it and make money.... Depends on what you want to do... Ship parts or sell the whole car.

Well I guess Cuda-challenger board would better tell you but If grille and interior are there.  I bet you could easy double your money.  Again without seeing what it looks like.... I would say easy $2000.
