I've been prolonging this too long.  A car has to go and fortunately/unfortunately it is my 68.  Here is the thread of the restoration-

I'm asking what you guys think in terms of keeping it as it is, or do the following with hopes it will get some more $$-

-Raise the car up to normal stance / install a taller tire.

-Make the engine compartment stock looking versus how it is now.

I would keep the 5 Speed and Hydroboost in it.

There is a handful of finishing touches I need to do to it this weekend in order to get it ready to sell.  This is above and beyond the potential changes above.

Let me know your thoughts.

dont change anything, that car looks sweet---one of THE best looking cars I have ever seen. anyway, it wont look like a restored car so dont go to that direction, sell it for what it is, a stylishly upgraded restomod.

:yesnod:  I dont think you'll have any problems selling it as is. It looks awesome and is a desirable color combo, I wouldn't change a thing. Just curious, what are you asking for it?

I have no clue at this point.  I know the owner of a consignment place in the area that has a large customer base, so I will probably run it down by him to look at it and then figure out a price.

I'll probably put it on Ebay also to see what kind of interest there is.

Honestly I have no idea.   I know what I have into it, and hopefully I'll come close to break even.

Personally, I an not too keen on the wheels.  But that is kind of the look these days. I wouldn't change anything. Someone will want it the way it is.  she sure is a looker...
