Dont look so bad its saveable, but still 7k is way to much. Have someone been restoring the 440 or is it just new gaskets for the headers?

I'd offer 3k, if he says no, Pull 3500 cash outta your pocket, if he turns that down, I would pull another 300 out, and offer 3800 (that is if it is not a rot box) If he still refuses, Just walk away you'll find another charger.
Good luck,
Jason

I just noticed..... where is the right inner fender??????

Telvis

I wouldnt give more than $3500 for it. There's going to be a lot of work needed to finish that car. That inner fender seems like a big problem to me. Finding someone to correctly fix it could be difficult.

bull

I definitely wouldn't pay more than $5k tops. Also, take those pictures to a good restoration/body shop and ask them about that right inner fender. Why were the supports cut off?

8WHEELER

Look at the left inner fender.... its been replaced allready, ask him what happened. You
don't go to all that work unless there was something very wrong, or they took those
originals and fixed a Hemi car.
You need a body guy to check the install of the drivers side in fender to help tell
you what is going on, and if it was done right

Please more imput! I know its not worth 7G'S !!!

Just walk away.

The missing inner fender, the repaired other side..which makes me wonder why.. wreck... rust?

Plenty of other 68 Chargers since this is a 318 car and for what he is asking you can get something in better shape. If you can't see the BIG issues this car has you will be is a world of $$ hurt after the honeymoon is over.

You have been warned!

The right inner fender is there. I just pulled it out of the way so it was ez to look at the motor numbers. It's a 74 by the way. Internally stocxk I'm sure...I'd bet it's a bit over-carburated. Owner claims he has had the car for 9 years.

I almost forgot -it does have a right fender with it but no left. The front had rust issues I've been told. It is a p/s car.

I haven't seen too many 68 to 70 Chargers with rust issues on the inner fenders! I did have to repair one that was cut for fenderwell headers though! Maybe it came from HELPG!

$1500, but I have been out of the market for a while...............

This is the last fixer-upper I bought in '89 for $300.

:iagree: Because they are both cut off & the hood looks like it's been swapped, I'm betting it took a good front end hit sometime in it's past.
$3500 tops is what I'd say.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)
