Changing my 318 auto charger to a 440 4 speed.  How do you locate where to mount the Z bar brace on the frame?

Chatt69chgr

I hope someone answers this because I need to know the same thing on my 69 charger.

IF no-one with actual info chimes in, this will do:

Install your engine & tranny.  The ball on the frame for the Z-bar should bel directly across
from the ball on the bellhousing & 90deg from the frame in both horizontal & vertical views.
Isn't there a dimple marking the spot?

The frame in that area is double layered, the top layer has a piece missing shaped like a check-mark and it lines up with that and the hole in the inner fender-well for socket insertion  used to install/remove the ball stud . The exact measurement, I don't remember but I do have it in my notes somewhere so I'll have to dig it out, trying to do this after the motor is in will be very difficult, good luck.

Here's a few pictures of my z bar. It's a Road Runner but should be the same for a Charger.
Looks like I found that bolt that went missing.
