Here are two more "What if's" for my '71 Super Bee. Opinions?

Don't worry guys...only one is an A/C question!

I'm considering a Pro Touring conversion on my '71 Super Bee.  Not as over the top as Pete's "Overcharged" car, but borrowing some ideas from him and KWS's car.  Two things I'd like info/opinions on.  First, are the hidden headlights truly a bolt-in swap?  Are there changes to the wiring harness?  I like the look and want to know if it's do-able.

Second, the Bee doesn't have air at this time, so I'll be adding A/C.  However, I don't care for the look of added on vents.  How difficult would it be to find a dash pad with factory A/C vents and used those for routing of the A/C?

Any help or input is appreciated.

Yes they are just bolt on and yea it changes the wiring harness. You need to give power to the actuator, it is not vacuum

Kinda figured.  I like the look of the factory outlets, but I want the efficiency of a new system.  Will probably have to buy an entire dash pad with the vents in them.

dash pad is the same for all cars, From outside just the passenger side woodgrain insert will change to fit the vents.

would need a dash frame JUST if your one didn't got outlet on driver side, but still pad is the same... then get the ducts and box of course

Firewall changes though, but nothing "unmodificable" ( sp? )

Hidden headlights... its a plug and play job just getting the parts. wiring can be home made and relay can be used a regular 5 pins bosch relay. Original underdash harness has the provisions to take the sources, what makes even easier. 73/74s needs some splices, but 71/72s have ( or should have ) the provisions

forgot to say... A/C harness is also a plug and play job. Runs separatelly from underdash harness and this has the provisions for it, so don't worry. In fact just takes an ACC source from a femalle rubber provision for the clutch ( existant on harness ) and the switch source for blower is the same than Heater cars, just need to remove the wire from Heater control switch and insert it on AC control switch

I'm talking about stock assemblies, anything aftermarket can be pretty much similar.
