Is it necessary to replace the leaf spring u bolts every time they have been loosened up for one reason or another?

I have been trying different ride heights in the rear. I have 1" lowering blocks installed on it now and going to stay with them. Is it a good idea to go ahead and replace the u bolts since they have been loosened and tightened several times now?

I wouldnt worry, as long as there not over-torqued but if there old and rusted you might want to replace them  :yesnod:

Mines were never changed on its life untill got some news because used block spacers, Never got a problem with originals, and I removed couple of times for several reasons. I know original owner also removed them to add a leaf on original springs... then I changed the springs, etc...
