Electronic Ignition Box Location with A/C firewall + conversion advice?

Hey folks!

I'm preparing to finally deal with my ignition problems using an MSD distributor by installing an FBO Distributor and Box in my 68 Charger.

My car was a standard coil car and I just upgraded to an MSD Blaster 2 when I used the MSD distributor

Now I need to re-wire for an electronic ignition box  :'(

So 2 major questions:

1. Any good wiring guides for swapping from the regular ignition to the electronic box?
2. Where the heck to I actually locate the ignition box? I have an A/C car and the firewall is pretty well taken over. Where are people putting the box?

Thanks!!

The answer to your second question is below the washer fluid reservoir, or inside the glove box.

I put mine under the washer bottle. ran the coil wires along the ac line, the distributer wires behind the alternator, and the power wires under the headlights.

Not much room under the battery tray with the vacuum canister there.

I ran them straight to the battery. I ran the headlight wires and the msd power wires in the same route so it looks like one set going under the headlights.

I like Just 6T9 CHGR's method  :)  you can't see it without searching for it. I wonder if he'd miss that A688 box  :scope:

I'm waiting on the mail man to bring me one of those brackets from RocketResto

Would have been better if you painted it red to match!  ;)

The orange box WILL fit under the battery tray, you just have to move it to one side so the plug clears the vacuum canister.

I hid my MSD box under the driver's seat, ran the wires thru the unused 4-spd grommet in the firewall.
