DC.COM Android App?

I have an Android Phone, love the apps!  I was thinking, we need to have a DC.COM app for these phones!!!  I don't even know how to start one... if anyone does....  Let's get this thing going!!

Well, on the phone you have to zoom in to read things, and when posting sometimes it can be a little troublesome (in my experience).  The app would (if created the way I vision it) would allow you to post, upload, view much smoother.. Maybe like a facebook set-up or something..

When on the site using my Droid, every time I try to open a thread all I get is one of the moderator's profile views (my particular phone seems to be in love with just69, all it wants to do is view his profile). Droid stinks and so does the Incredible.

A direct photo upload would be nice! Id be posting a lot more photos thats for sure.

I don't think an app is entirely necessary, but rather a mobile version of the site. A couple of other forums and websites I visit have it and it's pretty handy. With that said, I have no clue whatsoever what having a mobile version of the site entails, and it would obviously be up to Troy if he wanted to go that route.

Yes, I would love an iphone version that doesn't display pictures (posted or in signatures) until you click on them.  Perhaps just thumbnails of the pics instead of full res versions.
Takes too much time loading up previous posts with the pics I've already seen.

Also, as it's loading up, the page jumps around to accomodate the space for each newly displayed pic.

Hmmm, we have a WAP version of the site (it's built in to the forum software). I assumed the phone was requesting it.

Just tried mine - it isn't using it by default. However, if you follow this link you'll get the WAP version:

It looks like garbage and I can't see anywhere to create a new thread or reply to a post. If you're using a smart phone (anything with apps) it isn't necessary. Just zoom in to click the links/buttons.

Oh, and if there's an Android app you can be sure someone will want an iPhone app (and on and on and on) so, it's not likely.
