Tell her Marie is going to go so she will have someone to talk to.

Did you pre-register for the show?
What time did you plan on getting there?

Yes pre-reg, it'll be great to see Marie again, she's cool, hope to roll in at 830am. :icon_smile_wink:

so be ready to see some models that you may have never seen.

You got that right. Past years had several great cop cars, race cars, the 300s are awesome and the Imperials are out-of-this-world. If you haven't seen an Imperial with the record player you're in for a treat.

For the youngsters out there, once upon a time there were these things called record albums. They made music on a record player. But they weren't supposed to be in a car. Imperials had them! A must see.

Yep, Lawrence Welk used to promote them.  I always wanted my Dad to get one for the car. But they kind of died off after a few years.

It was a beautiful day, only about 85 degrees today and siting under the trees made it really nice.

Just so happened that Dan 68X426 and I got to park right behind each other. Brian (Rallye) and his wife were at the show just a few cars down from us. There was another fourm member that came up and introduced himself but for the life of me I cannot remember his name or handle. My brain is mush from being on vacation for three weeks.

It was a moderate turn out of about 200 cars and a decent size swap meet area.

Here are some pics and my photo album from today.

Hi Steve,
It was great to meet you today. Next year i will have my charger in the show instead of the lot!

68X426

Steve's pics are way better than mine, but I'll group a few here for your enjoyment.

The top three Chargers.

#3 is the 68 in FF1 Light Green Poly. I think I got the color right. Beautiful paint and body. Lots of confusion by the way, the owner says its a 68 but it has a 69 grill. When called for the award no one responded because the announcer was asking for the green 69. The judges voted for it as a 69, but it was entered as a 68.  ::)

#2 is the 66 Hemi.

#1 is Mr. Cusick's 68. Sweet, and original owner. Also won Best of Show at the Mopar Alley.

Radical 1950 Dodge Panel with blown early Hemi.

Awesome 1940 Dodge Police Car from Chico CA. Still with the original Flathead Six.

Fantastic 1958 Dodge Pick Up with 331 Chrysler Industrial Hemi. Incredible time and effort put into this beauty, and the style details were exceptional.
