I have read on several forums that the 337 intake may be discontinued. I havnt heard ofthis intake before and a google search has yielded almost no advertising info about it. I looked on mancinis site and can't find it nor on any other site for sale. Can it still be purchased and what are the specs\ application. Will it fit a 440 with eddy rpm heads without modifications?

That is the thread that got me interested in it.  Its a very nice looking intake but I don't see any actual specs and powerband info, nor can I find it on any site including mopar performance.

I did find a brief picture and I think this may be the partnumber but the pic was black and white..... p4876128

As stated on the other thread ; this is a low rise single plane with large radiused runners. The port volume is large so it will be somewhat "soft" on a smaller displacement build like a 440. It's probably comparable to an Edelbrock Victor or maybe slightly larger in terms of port volume which will affect velocity at lower engine speeds.

INMO, this manifold is well suited for a stroker build in the 500ci or bigger area or a race 440 setup with 12:1 compression/300cfm heads and a big cam that will make power to 7000rpm.

I'd imagine throttle response below 4000rpm would be pretty soggy on a street build 440  :P

Ok, looks awesome, but above my needs. I don't want to be spinning up to 7k... that's what I have my 383 for  :D

I doubt it will be GONE anytime soon...seems ma mopar just makes a few a year and thats it. You can find em if you look hard enough.

What intake do you have now? Eddy CH4B is an excellent intake manifold for a mild 440.
