I think by now most of us have heard of the museum Tim Wellborn has created in Alabama and several have even been fortunate enough to already see it.  For those who haven't I see they now have a website.

Also, for all of the 3rd gen Charger fans, it looks like they will be hosting a 40th Anniversary of the 1971 Charger at the museum this October.

The Wellborn museum is a stop on the Power Tour, so I'll likely see it.

More than a few of the local car guys have a low regard for Wellborn, but nobody seems to have reasons...any gossip?

Not that I know of.  Any of my encounters with him have been nothing but positive and in my books he is a stand up guy and a true enthusiast.  I have yet to see the museum but it is on the list.

Tim Wellborn has been a stand up guy to the Mopar hobby for years.   The new museum is fantastic.    The hospitality he and Pam will extend at any car event they host will leave attendees very pleased at the experience.

Good to hear. Probably just some sour grapes.
