Ah, so its the hybrid and electric cars that are not paying thier fair share in taxes.

I have an easy answer for that.....

Should be an easy law to pass since they are currently in the minority.

somehow i doubt they will put a 'per mile' tax in. For one, it goes against their 'green' credentials.


Should you support it? If you only pay tax per mile, then it doesn't matter if you own a prius or a 440 charger, as they pay the same tax. who's the winner?  :smilielol:

A milage tax will be passed and the gas tax will be renamed "carbon tax" and moved somewhere into the distribution chain to conceal with a fig leaf that you are not getting taxed twice.
