I am going from the drums all around to disc in front, original Bendix stuff.

First , I bolted the Bendix booster to the firewall, now it seems the pushrod is too long. I can't get the linkage pivot to bolt up. Should I have to "work" to get it hooked up? By that I mean push in the push rod to hook it up. Also,it hits where the red circle is (I think I circled the wrong side but you get the idea). Is the push rod length different between the Midland/Ross and the Bendix?? Could I have the wrong booster?

Second , I was going to bolt up the prop valve and now I don't think I have the right one (pic below). The mounting bracket seems too long??

Third , I think the safety valve is correct?

The top photo shows what looks to be a Combination Valve, although I can't actually tell by looking at that particular image.
The photo in the middle is of a Distribution Block with a Safety switch.
The critter in the bottom image is not a Proportioning Valve, that's a Metering Valve... you can tell by the little plunger pin sticking out of it.

Proportioning Valve - A proportioning valve restricts the amount pressure to the rear of a brake system under heavier braking conditions to prevent the rear brakes from locking up.

Distribution Block - This block is simply a place to run brake lines to and split the front and rear systems.  It does not proportion or meter the brake fluid coming from the master cylinder.

Metering Valve - A metering block is found on vehicles with front disc brakes and rear drums.  This valve holds off any fluid from getting through to the front brakes up to a certain pressure. This causes the rear drum brakes to engage just slightly before the front, which results in more level stopping.

Combination Valve- Combination valves combine all three of the above blocks into one.

So with the one mounted on the frame ,I don't need any of the others.correct? Not saying your wrong but,the pin doesn't move. I thought it was for an electrical connection.
