I'm not sure which angers me more but when I see them combined it really irks me.  I was going to let it go becuase I know it's nothing new and anyone who has been into the hobby for longer than about 4 days has experienced but as I sit here this morning it still has me worked up.
Went to look at what used to be a 69 Charger and is currently for sale in my area.  I expected from the price that the car wa a project but I had no idea how little 10k actually buys in this economy.  This was a car that needed everything and I mean EVERYTHING.  It would take another 50 or 60 thousand plus one of those donor shells with vin that I despise so much to put this car back on the road and then you still wouldn't have all you need to pretend it's a real car.  In 2007 his "do you have any idea what these cars go for" selling feature may have worked but I vaguely recall an economic meltdown between then and now somewhere.  Naturally his price was firm.
I am going to try and get back to get some pics.

Just 6T9 CHGR

Yes I completely agree.   Drove with a friend 6+ hours to look at a 71 Charger R/T with him that was described as original metal & a "slightly older" resto....they were asking a premium price for a premium POS...would take another 10k just to get it decent...

Oh yeah....PS

Ran into this a while back going to look at a Mustang with a Ford guy.  From description and price, you were expecting a car that probably needed paint and some interior work.  Car had bad clutch, wrong rearend, (too wide), was an auto but now 4 speed, (no hump either-you get the picture), more bondo that metal.  Guy capped this off by trying to press the sale because he had a "buyer driving down fro Pa." to look a the car.  I told him he better not be around when that happens, cause if I had driven 4-5 hours and then seen what he was selling  :RantExplode: (you know the rest).   Just don't know what some people are thinking.
