So a little back story for those who didnt read my previous post....

So, my wife Carly has been looking for a 350Z as a scoot about car for a while, she is also a muscle car/rod girl. We were actually on the way to look at a Z when we got the Bee at a local specialty car dealer last year.

So, fast forward to last Saturday. We went out to look at another Z car. Of course we have to go past the same car lot on the way to look at the Z car, and of course we have to stop to see what cars are in stock.

They have some neat ones there, some 442's, Vette's, a really nice 58, Camaro's etc, along with a stock 38 Ford, a 41 Pontiac and a 41 Chrysler. Well, she fell in love with the Chrysler.

Its a 41 Chrysler coupe body, with a 37 Chevy nose, which is good, cause i dont really like the wide front ends on 30's and 40's Chryslers. It has a 350/350/12 bolt and frame from a 77 Monte Carlo. Cant win em all i guess. Great stereo, bucket seats, AC, solenoid doors, air shocks, etc.

I may research and see what has to be done to mount a 318 or 340/727/8.75 on a Chevy frame and put the Chevy drivetrain in my sons 79 Monte.

They want $25,000 for the car....... So, we put a down payment on it yesterday, and they are going to do some things to it, oil changes, etc, so we should have it next week, but here they are together.

Is that Compact Car Corner on 99? Car looks like fun.

350/350 is great and it's already decked out and set up with AC. Why change? It not like we are going to make fun of you except behind your back.

... same here. Luckily I don't live north, and so have escaped unscathed so far. That place has been there since I think the 70's. At least it was there when I was going to high school.

Congrats.

Where are ya from Rallye Mike?  Yeah kompact has been there and outlasted all the other used car places for a long time.  I worked for Louis's buddy Kent Chaplin at Chaplins Mazda in Eastgate back in the 90's, and some pretty nice cars would show up there and leave and end up at the other store.  I showed up at work one day and a Ferrarri 365 was sitting in my stall.   "Whats up with this"?  "Oh, do a tune up and oil change on it"  Man that was a pain, sure was fun to drive though.  I went to Sammamish HS in Bellevue
