my son in law has a 04 rumble bee.bought used.his has a true dual exhast on it.2 seprate pipes coming from the motor, going to 2 cats,2 mufflers,2 tail pipes.he needs to replace from the mufflers back.called dodge they just show a single exhaust.looked on line at other rumble bee pictures and some have 2 tailpipes some have a single tailpipe.anyone have a bee that they have run into a problem like this.don't know if it's been changed before or what.told him he will most likely have to have it made special.all the aftermarket kits i've found are all one pipe in the muffler with 2 outlets.any in put.thanks tom

I'm pretty sure the factory setup was not a true dual, rather, a single muffler with single outlet a chromed exhaust tip exiting out the right side of the bed behind the wheel.  Sounds like your son-in-law may have a Dynamax setup or the like.  Best bet would be to just take it into an exhaust shop and have them put in new parts for you.   :2thumbs:

Cheers

i talked to him today and thats what we'll do.i have a 05 daytona and its got a y pipe going into a muffler with 2 pipes comming out the muffler.everything is stainless except the y pipe.someone must have paid a pretty penny for the setup on his truck.i told him i'd keep the true dual setup.might cost alittle more but the sound and alittle more performance is worth it.

Go to RumbleBee.org and I'm sure someone there can help.  They came with single exhaust but there are plenty of mods available for them.

The 5.7 trucks had to have the same exhaust setup to comply with emission regulations and certification. They all had had cast iron manifolds, a short section of pipe followed by "pre catalytic converters. The pipes merged into a SINGLE pipe which fed another Catalytic converter, then a large diameter muffler, a resonator then the tailpipe. ANY pre 2008 truck with dual pipes has been modified from the factory design.
I find it amazing that these trucks run at all with 5 corks in the exhaust system.
