So I was outside washing my dart and this really old guy shuffles up and starts talking to me about my car. He then tells me he used to drive an old Dodge. So I ask him what kind and he said "Oh, it was a '69 Dodge Charger R/T". So when I tell him my dad used to have a '70 R/T he tells me his car had a 440 and a 4 speed. Sadly he sold the car when he kids were just becoming old enough to drive. He didn't want them learning on something so powerful. He regrets selling it to this day. Then he just shuffles off back home.

That's cool. I got a old friend that still regrets selling his '69 Mustang Mach1. He drives his '04 Dakota like it is a Mustang though.

My Dad taught me about TIME TRAVEL.
"If you don't straighten up, I'm going to knock you into the middle of next week!" :P

Jeez, most of them stories end in how they wrecked it! Thats cool though. When i was a kid and i went to visit my cousins in Littleton Ma. there was a 69 R/T up the street from them and i used to go stare at it all the time. One day it wasnt there and then it pulled up and a really old lady got out of it with a bag of groceries and walked into the house. I remember thinking how odd it was she was tooling around in a 375 horsepower car...i think i was like 9 years old at the time.

And some day you'll have the same story as that old duffer. :yesnod:
