automatic transmission problems

hi everyone really appreciate this board. having a problem with my charger 904 trans it is flaring when it shifts from 2nd to 3rd gear. had it rebuilt about 8 years ago and put about 7000 miles on it since any ideas. thank you in advance.

Try adjusting the kickdown band; if that doesn't help you've got excessive leakage at the front clutch (worn seals).
