Grease seal?

I didn't quite get the differential sealed the last time I swapped gears so I'm in the process of pulling the rear axle apart again. I noticed some grease on the axle bolts and on the back side of the brakes shoes. Where is this coming from and how hard is it to fix? The foam looking gaskets are pretty trashed so I planned on getting a set of those but this looks like it's more from the center.

Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

When you pull the axles check the seals that sit in the tubes of the housing, they sit a bit in on each side. They look like front main seals.

Btw check your pm's, I need your zip code.

The grease you might be seeing could actually gear lube that maybe solidified with some brake heat?

I've been sick but I'll try to get over to the garage today. It does look pretty thin.
