Vacuum leak at the butterfly linkage, so I am going to replace w/600 or 650 carb, unless you can buy a new bottom plate?

Was thinking 600 for gas mileage, but would a 650 be better.

tricky lugnuts

I ran a Carter AFB 600 on my stock 340 for years. Loved it. Got a solid 15-16 miles per gallon on the highway.

Either 600 or 650 would work - you could probably even go bigger if you wanted. I always like good throttle response though.

IF YOU WANT I think there is a dealer around here with a NOS CORRECT 340 THERMOQUAD CARB FOR AUTO CAR ( still on box ), true is 72, but better, due its the 6000 series ( better metering rods )

just in case. Of course, will require international shipping
Venezuelan RT 74 400 4bbl, 727, 8.75 3.23 open. Now stroked with 440 crank and 3.55 SG. Here is the History and how is actually: http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php/topic,7603.0/all.html
