Starter Relay jump

Just a quick question.. I've never jumped the relay, how do you do it, specifically?  Thanks, I get nervous with this sort of stuff.  68 Charger, if that makes a difference.

Hold a screwdriver like this, don't forget to turn the ignition first, or else it wont fire.

Had to do this all the time last year when my NSS crapped out, looked real ghetto!  ;)

Just be careful not to short anything out.

Get one of these, they're CHEEP and available everywhere, from NAPA to Wal-Mart for like $12.



Attach the clips to whatever you want to jump, then you can avoid accidental shorts and stand clear of moving parts.

Screwdriver method workes for me, just be careful, also be sure its in park. Be advised you will get some sparks.
