I've got the 3 speed wiper motor and the drive link all hooked up. I've got both original arms the driver's side with an extra link that I don't know goes where. My body manual or chassis manual doesn't provide any illustrations to reassemble everything. I'm trying to figure out how to hook up the driver's and passenger's side arms to the wiper motor drive link correctly. What kind of clip do I need to hook up the extra arm on the driver's side wiper arm and where does it go? Does anyone know what other years/models wiper blades will fit? I want the original stainless type blade not any new black ones.

Strange, I know but it's in electrical.  8-109

Yeah I've got that but I'm actually trying to hook up the arms to the pivots and the driver's side has another link on it that I don't know goes where. I don't see any illustrations for it. It's not in the parts catalog either.

I CAN'T FIND THE THREAD I MADE ABOUT ALL THE 3RD GEN WIPERS SYSTEM ( 2 and 3 speeds )

I looked at that topic but I still dont see how my wiper arms hook up to the pivots. Which one goes where? I would take a picture but I lost my cable to upload to my computer. But one arm is just a straight arm and the other one has an extra link on it. Does that go on the driver's side or passenger side? I looked through that topic link and that was mostly the wiper transmission links. Ive got my wiper transmission links hooked up to the pivots but I just have to find the nut to bolt it to the wiper motor. But I still don't see which wiper arm goes on which pivot and wear does the extra link go. I can also tell it's alot harder to get at with the hood now on.

If the driver's side has the extra link, then that "Extra" one is for the drive arm from the motor. Like in the pic above. The other arm is a link beeen the two wiper pivots to connect them together. Yes, this will be a PITA to install with the hood on...

I did figure out how to install the wiper arms now. I went bought some cheap blades so I could follow the instructions in my 73 Chrysler chassis manual under electrical 8-106. But I tried for almost 3 hours to get the wiper arm on the splines of the pivot. I don't see how it's done. Because the wiper arm itself needs to bend up so it's splines are square with the pivot splines and that can't happen because of the hood. Either that or there's rust/dirt but I don't really see any. Is there a trick to installing the arms on the splines, maybe a different position to have it in that I couldn't figure out?
