A drawback to working on the projects on that show is everything gets crushed after completion. They save running gear and add ons, but the bodies are crushed to prevent liability. So you can have fun building, but the end result is predictable, it has to be destroyed.

Horsepower TV sold off some of their old projects recently including the lime green mopar, old blue hair...and the "Super Nova" project was sold to a guy that repainted it and is now racing in NHRA. Not to mention, Stacy Davids "Copper Head" truck was sold on Ebay a couple years ago. Doubt they will crush that turbocharged '55 Chevy they've been working on. 

But that's not saying at one time they didn't destroy vehicles...I know for a fact Chevrolet, Dodge and Ford crush all their first run cars that they use for testing and even some that are used for publicity purposes.
