hi, a co worker was telling me he had been to a junk yard in Tennessee that was nothing but mopar. he said you would see chargers and challengers lined up along the fence and was seen from the road. i think he said it was just as u entered tenn from alabama, i cant remember the name of the town but he said it was about 30 to 45 min from huntsville alabama. i was just wandering about it since i have the weekend to myself and money from taxes, might lead to a charger. if anyone knows of it and has a name or number or address that would be great. thanks

He might be talking about Stephens Performance in Anderson Al, I was there last Friday. Yes you can see cars from the road, ( Hiway 207) they have a 68R/T next to the offices.  Road Runners, 3rd gen Chargers, older B bodies ect. but they will not let you walk the yard and prices are high.

i remember walking through r&r in missouri. it was rows of chargers and cudas and roadrunners as far as you could see. you could drive through the yard and pull parts and drive back up front to show what you had collected. it was one sweet mopar junk yard. then they had buildings you caould walk in with lines of 6 pak, hemi, and the rarest of cars.they were pretty complete in that building. had a sox and martin in there also. we would take a lunch and spend the day.  oh the memories. hmmmmmmmm............................

Back in late 99 or 2000 I was working in Joplin Mo. Someone told me about R&R and how to get there. One Monday my job was rained out, so i decided to drive down there and they were closed on Mondays. Could see some cars across the fence, but I never made it back before it was closed for good. I missed out big time.
If you find the place in Tenn. take some pictures and post them if you can.

Yeah let us know where the place in Tennessee  is. Talking about Stephens, I live 10 minutes from there. Don't plan on buying anything unless you drive an armor car full of cash....I've had the misfortune to speak to him on a few occasions, he's a grade A dickhead.

I had a place like that over here in MD. They had a patch of hidden mopars, no 3rd gens charger parts left after I had my first one  :D

Seems like it's a job requirement for being a wrecking yard owner.

ok, the way to find this junk yard will be to get on an aireal map site and look for it. was it off the freeway, or a 2 lane road?
