Will a 70's collum work on a 69 charger

My collum has a key ignition on it , can i convert it so i can put the ignition on the dash, for the 69 charger, please help.

so you have a 69 charger but its been fitted with a 70 column  :scratchchin:  , think the best way round the problem would be to get a 69 steering column  &  sell the 70 to some one who needs it  :scratchchin: :shruggy:   :popcrn:

What's the difference between a 69 and 70 steering column ?  :shruggy: My 70 charger does not have a key in the column....It's on the dash.

70:
Bigger diameter to fit ign switch on column, hazzard switch integrated to turning switch on column.

mmm, I think you have 69 or 68 dash on your 70

 Hmmm, I never thought about it...I know it has a 68 interior (seats).   :shruggy:....Oh well, It's been that way since I bought it back in the 80's.
