At least there's evidence.  I would have thought the plow could have used his blade to help himself out, at least a little.  I see bobcat guys do it all the time here but maybe it's different equipment.  Tough sledding I guess.  Too bad for the people that have to put up with it all.

I dont know WTF is up with the DSNY this year but its been 3+ days since the storm has ended and not 1 friggin plow has been down my street YET!

Normally the first day my block is cleared......newspapers are reporting a work slowdown due to contract talks with the union....figures :rotz:

I am sure the union has nothing to do with it.  :insertsarcasm:  That sucks Chris.  Have you been able to get out of your house at all?

I love the fact that video has been up for just two days, and already 1.5 million views.

Maybe I'm not too bright but how about putting CHAINS on the loader before you leave the shop? Crazy yes, but it just might work.

How much do you want to bet that that the owner of the Ford Explorer is getting a new car.
When your Charger is sideways, just give it more gas!

The worst part of the video was having to listen to the audio of the cameraman running his mouth from his warm apartment in his bare feet.

It has nothing to do with them being bright or not.  It's just that they don't care.  The fact that the city may take the hit on that is  not even a certainty because the same type of people who performed this monumental act of stupidity will also be handling the damage claim.  they will make the owner jump through a million hoops and he still might not get reimbursed, that's how it works in NYC.

The clowns who did that clearly have no clue how to operate the equipment they are using and don't care about anyone or anything.  You cross that line into the city and it's pretty much the "screw you" attitude.  I live 45 miles from there and I avoid it like the plague.
