I apparently used really cheap baggies to store my fasteners/hardware and most have ripped leaving me with lots of screws/bolts/nuts at the bottom of my box. Does anyone have a pic of the right screws to attach the roof rail trim/weatherstrip ? I will probably need more help identifying others. Does this happen to alot of others? Maybe a sticky on the subject??

Merry Christmas to all.

I'm not clear on what you're asking. Based on your profile I believe you have a 69 like me. If you mean the SS trim that goes over the drip rail itself, there are no fasteners, it sorta rolls/snaps into place. If the weather strip you're talking about is the long rubber gasket that the windows roll up into, you just push it or pinch it into place.  :shruggy:

well mine had never previously been appart ,  & had 6 on one side  & 3 on other  :scratchchin:  i would not order any of the new MP ones as they are too long & show above the  inner roof rail trim , !!  try to get hold of as many original ones as you can !!  or make  some !!  i used  about 20 aside  doing my  headliner !!  & always use lots when doing this type :yesnod:
but every one has their own way !! & prolly use less ,  but not got any wrinkles & is drum tight !!

iron headliner from the back a few times  to get the sat in box  creases out  dont  iron to slow ! ,  then let it sit in sun for a while before fitting , then use hair dryer for heat as you go !

MRCHARGER

Clip 3 looks kinda like a vent cable end attaching clip found on the heater box. But they have a hole for a philips screw in some applications so I don't know for sure. Could be a windshield moulding clip with the center section broke out.

Mr Charger , Tantop , Thank you. You have been most helpful.
