Ordered a bearingkit for the rearend of the chally, 111$. So far so good but when the postmen
rings on the door with the package 2 weeks later he wants 55€ (70$) in customfees and taxes.
I know this is an old subject for us Europeans but this way there is no way I can afford finishing
that project. When I did the charger I was lucky that Mike could help me crating up parts or stuffing
them in some cars I bought at the time. Why does the goverments have to kill all hobbies and take
profit from hardworking people who already pay all that tax.

Yes I know all to well what you're talking about. When you add shipping costs from the States to Europe plus the taxes, the initial price has nearly doubled. It's

Happy Holidays to you and yours. The fees and taxes we pay have become outrageous.
I cannot speak for european union countries but the US government and state/local governments as well have a long history of spending money they don't have depending on "future revenue streams". When the economy tanks their solution is to tax/fee the hell out the overtaxed citizens to cover their poor financial planning.
