Never heard of such a thing but a very nice car and a 4spd :yesnod:

Topher

I do like them twice wide valve covers, and that third pedal makes it go faster. I've never heard of this.

uh..yea, it does..hemi, (73), 4spd, (3),  red interior, (P4R), white exterior, (WW1)

Newer looking rad and shroud style.......Someone must have done their own cowl induction - no?

Besides they wrecked it - they took the frame off to do the resto.... :icon_smile_big:

Ghoste

Nice car but I call complete and utter  :icon_bs: on the NASCAR edition thing.

FlatbackFanatic

they even put the stripe on the side of the roof in the wrong spot. I never heard of a NASCAR edition...... :shruggy:

Perhaps Nascar Edition = Hillbilly Edition? I'd believe that.  :yesnod:

Could be a good price for a hemi car if it's legit.  No VIN?  A fender tag does not make authenticity.  Most people I know would have working gauges in their hemi car if the reserve is going to be appropriate.  I think the NASCAR thing is pushing it.

Ghoste

The open drivers door photo shows a vin tag in place and it claims to have clear title. :shruggy:

A NASCAR Style rear spoiler and some sort of aftermarket cowl induction, do not a NASCAR Edition make.   While I agree that this is one very nice and somewhat unique Charger, unless the seller or someone else can supply supporting documentation, I think the NASCAR Edition thing can be credited with being just a bit of "Sellers Enhancement".  In all the years I have owned Chargers I have never heard of nor seen anything about this so called NASCAR Edition.   This Charger has been featured in a couple of magazines in the past and each time the limited edition NASCAR thing is mentioned.

Since it appears as if you don't need any actually documentation to backup claims of having a limited edition, I would like everyone on the Charger.com site to know that my 1967 Charger is a very rare limited edition Richard Petty Championship Edition (who cares if he never drive an early Charger...that's just unnecessary facts), and is one of only (you fill in the number, but 43 sounds good) built.  I figure due to the passage of time mine is the only one left, and yes it is registered and listed with the Home Depot paint dept.   Should make it worth big bucks when and if I ever decide to sell it!!!

What I meant was I can't read the VIN, and he doesn't post it.  If I were selling a WO Coronet, and wanted top dollar for it, I would share as much about it as possible in the ad. I know of two cars with the same build date as the tag pictured so could be reasonably close on the VIN.

I agree it looks a lot like the seller is creating documentation for the car.  It still might be a nice buy for a hemi car, if you disregard the NASCAR story

I'm also not aware of any actual "registry" service through DuPont.  To my knowledge the Dupont Registry is just a magazine of want ads for the obscenely rich.

Bryan says he know the car and it's  a hemi car.  There's a thread on the 66-67 site.  Now we just see if it sell and for how much.  Maybe Santa will leave it under my tree.
