Is a '71 Rear Defroster proper for a '68?

I found one from a '71 Coronet. Is the assembly proper for use in a '68 Charger, with regards to fit and part numbers? I already have the defroster outlet and dash switch. I've attached a photo of what it should look like (I'm guessing).

I have never seen the '71 kit up close or compared it to '68-69-70, but from the parts book it looks like there was a fairly significant change between '70 and '71.  The motor part number changed for sure between the two years, and you'd think that could be a problem.  That's not to say it wouldn't fit or work, but there are likely other issues as well.  My guess is a '70 setup would be more likely to plug-n-play than a 1971, although that's again just a guess.  The 1970 parts list has a lot of older-looking part numbers in that section than '71.

This is I believe an original for the E-body cars, which i also believe is the same as 71 B-body cars.( not 100% sure so don't blast me for guessing)

Which is obviously different for 68-70 B body cars.

Thanks Geno and Bill. I'll keep looking around.

68-70 Chargers have their own unique duct and grille plate. The length, width and shape of that duct and grille is different even on the other B bodies of the same era.
