I'm ALMOST done with my project. I just put the intake manifold on yesterday. It's an Edelbrock Performer RPM on top of a 440 (stroked to 500+). I went to put on my old throttle linkage and it doesn't look like it fits properly. Plus, I've converted from an automatic to a 5 spd. The carb is a Quick Fuel 850Q. Where can I get the proper linkage? I'm hoping to have the car on the road by Saturday, but that will depend on the linkage and if my driveshaft comes in tomorrow.

The original throttle "linkage" is a cable.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

You'll need the Chrysler carb throttle bracket for the carb., and Mancini sell throttle cable brackets.  There is another post with some pics

500" NA, Eddy head, pump gas, exhaust manifold with 2 1/2 exhaust with tailpipes
4150 lbs with driver, 3.23 gear, stock converter
11.68 @ 120.2 mph

Got it all hooked up today. Mancini came through even though overnight shipping turned into 4 days  :flame: Thanks for the advice, guys. I got her running today, but not without a few issues. Hopefully I can get them figured out tomorrow.

Cheers,

OK...here you guys go. There's still some tweaking to do and lots of clean-up. Plus, my clutch isn't working, I've got electrical goblins, a random oil leak, and I'm out of gas :brickwall:....to be continued.
