Hi!
i want to stock build my charger rt/se 1969 engine but having some problems.
The engine seams to be a 1970.
This is my manifold and i think its a 70 HP manifold, does the intake holes between the 1969 and 1970 any diff?
And i want to know if my transmission PK3410669L 727 are the type of transmission mounted orginal on a 440 HP engine? Did they have diff 727?
I dont know what kind of crank the engine has bec i cant find any casting numbers...its forged crank with thin balancer

help...!

yep 69 intake manifold , has four holes !!  as apposed to two !! think the 70 or 71 is a better flowing intake from memory , but don't quote me on this , some thing i read i think years & years ago  :scratchchin: :popcrn:

I'd say the manifold pictured is '70 or later due to the choke stove.

PK3410669L is from a '70 C body with a 440 standard performance.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

Thanks for fast answers!
Do you guys think its ok to place this manifold on a car i want to really want to look as stock 440 magnum 69?
And the transmission are there any diff inside the 727 if its a standard trans?

The casting number between the four hole and the newer plenum  will be different....Other than that,  it will appear stock, and the choke stove looks like my original 69 manifold.  As far as the transmission,  and someone please correct me if i'm wrong,  I believe the only difference noticeable is the backup light switch....but like I said, don't hold me to that one.

Thanks!

Ok, i think im looking for the original 69 manifold anyway, , want it to look just like 69 factory.
Some papers says that the Charger 69 440 came with heavy duty transmission but no one can say the diffrence , if there are any?
