Am I missing something about this car that makes it special? This one will be for sale for a looong time. these prices on Ebay have been very Barrett Jackson-like lately  :smilielol:

Looks like $41k to me all day long.   :shruggy:    ;)

Now this one is a real 71 Superbee with a Ramcharger hood, I could understand if it was 41K but not the 73

Either the guy doesn't want to sell it or he's trying for a world record. The 71 is way more desirable looks like it has no reserve?

That's a nice looking car.  :coolgleamA:
This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.

Now watch what you say or they'll be calling you a radical,
      a liberal, oh fanatical, criminal.
Won't you sign up your name, we'd like to feel you're
acceptable, respectable, oh presentable, a vegetable!

This is the one major drawback of shows like the Barrett-Jackson auctions, Antiques Roadshow and others that deal with collectibles. Everyone who has one gets dollar signs in their eyes and suddenly thinks that the one they have is suddenly worth it's weight in gold, even if it isn't even remotely like the one they saw go for big bucks.

I think they put an extra zero on the price tag.  Hum!! I will ask the seller.

I guess that makes my 73 with 17,000 miles worth 50k. I would be lucky to get half that. the seller is way off base.

I've said that for years.  All it's done is hurt the folks who would like the buy a reasonable classic, restore it and drive it.
All that stuff goes for crazy money.
Folks ask all the time "what is you 67 worth"? And I always say, "not what you may think!"

At least he's not trying to sell it as a 1 of 1 '73 R/T since it already has the sticker on the hood.

Well he is taking offers so I think the unrealistic $41k price is just for people to bid on the higher end. Yeah pictures don't even justify the asking price.

And I thought this one was a little high...  :rotz:

That looks like a steal at that price if it's a real 71 Superbee.

Nothing against 3rd generation, but this really expensive  :o

haha dont smash a 73, they have potential too with a little tweaking.  I can tell yah one thing though if I could get half of his asking price for my 73, Id take it in a heartbeat and try to find a 70 in decent shape!  If someone was to get 20k for a 73 I would be quadrupling what I have invested in mine much less 40+
