I just recently purchased an inner 4-speed boot for my 70 Charger 4-speed car. I am not sure if they make reproductions of this yet but there is a part number on it. The number is 2950074-53495. Can anyone tell me if this was the correct part number for this part. Aslo was this same boot also used on the 68 and 69 4-speed console cars?? thanks

That number is in the parts as - '70 B body w/o console oblong shape-.
Wouldn't the '68-'69 boots have a round hole for the shifter.

Bill Allphin was gonna try to reproduce them but there wasn't enough interest IIRC.

He did find a number of NOS boots, and should have some left. I'm sure he'll chime in. I'm tracking one for my car from him but haven't pulled the trigger yet.

I tried to take a picture of the part number but my camera will not focus on it. there is only the number and not pentastar stamped on it. Would this be a part that hurst would have produced for dodge? I see in my 70 dodge manual it show this boot going under the console, but no part number for it. Also mine does not have a hole cut in it yet that is why I was wondering if 68, 69 and 70 were all the same and if you had to cut the hole in them when they were installed?

the pt number on the steel ring is the same between the 2 boots.

I know for a fact  it's a on 1970 , just not 100% positive if it is or isn't used on 68-69's

I need one for my conversion. I'd love to get an original but otherwise I was just going to use a '69 one...it really doesn't matter, no one will ever see it with the console
