We got a 69 Daytona 500 with a an unoriginal trunk lid and need to know everything we can about the original specs. If anyone knows where we could look at a picture or the process of making one would be.

What do you mean by unoriginal? Is it a regular Charger lid?

Take a tour and search of the Aero section.  There should be plenty there and welcome to the site

I guess your modifiying a regular 68-70 charger trunk lid .For a daytona or 500 lid that has to be shortened hinges relocated .The trunk filler  cap piece is available glass and metal .The hinges are also on here for sale.Only year difference is a 68-70 .70 lid will have go wing cut outs on the underside.I got a pictures of a original 69 500 charger trunk lid I had a friend needed for a wingcar

I could build you one with a steel closeout panel but I prefer to have the car here to make sure it fits correctly.
